education

In addition to creating new work, Jonzi D Productions is passionate about developing the artists and audiences of the future. As part of that commitment, the company offers a wide-ranging education programme that can run in conjunction with touring work or stand alone.

Through our education programme schools, youth groups and other service providers can book a variety of workshops ranging from Breakin' to Rap and Physical Calligraphy; as well as working with the company to create bespoke projects and lecture demonstrations. Bespoke workshops could include addressing specific National Curriculum Key Stage attainment targets (particularly in Dance, Drama or English), BTECH Performing Arts (Dance): Urban dance module, Intergrated workshops for able/disable bodied students or workshops tackling issues around social inclusion. While touring, workshops based on themes and ideas used in the current production will also be available. Look out for new Markus the Sadist workshops arriving in 2009!
