is the UK's leading producer of Hip Hop Theatre and was established
in 2005. The company's Artistic Director is Jonzi D, one
of the leading practitioners and advocates for UK Hip Hop. In addition
to touring productions, the company also has a successful education
programme teaching and developing dance and spoken word skills with
young people and professional artists. Its regular Surgery event
is a showcase platform for emerging Hip Hop theatre work, supporting
new and established artists developing and performing new ideas.
Jonzi D Productions is a regularly funded organisation of Arts Council England. It is an Associate Company of Sadler's Wells and based at the theatre.
