Fusing all the elements of Hip Hop culture, TAG…just writing my name tells the story of a young obsessive graffiti writer in search of acceptance.
Featuring rap poetry from UK Slam Champion 2007, John Berkavitch as MINE2 and five of the UK’s finest breakers and poppers, alongside specially commissioned 3D graffiti sculptures and video animation with music from the legendary DJ Pogo.
This dynamic and explosive show delves deep into the world of graffiti writing exploring the concept of ‘physical calligraphy’ to literally bring it to life.
TAG seamlessly fuses elements of Hip Hop culture - break-dancing, body-popping, and graffiti art – to create the ultimate Hip Hop dance theatre experience!
